A doula is a trained support person who provides emotional, physical and informational support during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. I don't replace a midwife or doctor- I work alongside them to help you feel confident and supported
A midwife is a medical professional responsible for clinical care and monitoring your health and your baby’s. A doula is non-medical and focuses on your emotional well-being, comfort, and experience throughout your journey.
Anytime! Some families get in touch early in pregnancy, others later on or even just for postnatal support. The earlier you reach out, the more time we have to build a relationship and plan the kind of support that feels right for you.
Absolutely. I support home births, hospital births, cesarean births, and everything in between. My role is to support your choices and help you feel empowered, informed, and respected throughout.
Yes. If I’m supporting your birth, I’ll be on-call 24/7 from 10 days before your due date until your baby arrives.
Definitely. I support the whole family—your partner isn’t replaced, they’re included and encouraged. Many partners find having a doula there helps them feel more confident and connected.
I believe doula support should be accessible. I offer flexible payment options, and I’m happy to chat about ways we can make it work for you.
I offer a free, no-obligation chat so we can meet, talk through what you’re looking for, and see if we’re a good match. It’s important that you feel comfortable with the person supporting you.
Not at all! Doulas can be helpful for any birth—first baby or fifth. Whether you want a different experience this time, have specific preferences, or just want extra support, I’m here for you.
